Our heat pump wasn't cooling. The technician responded and replaced a bad capacitor. He also corrected a corroded connection. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I would recommend Blue Ridge Heating and Air to anyone in need of HVAC repairs.

Kevin was very polite and professional. He performed an annual review on two of my heat pumps and found problems with both of them. I feel fortunate that he found and corrected these problems before they became emergencies.

I've called other places in this area and the moment I couldn't pay them they would get rude. He helped me right there on the phone. He was very intelligent, professional, kind hearted person. Tim came and serviced our Lennox heat pump. He quickly determined that the compressor was not working, and diagnosed that the dual capacitor was bad and replaced it. He also completed a routine maintenance check on the inside unit as well. Tim was very professional and polite, and took the time to explain the repair needed. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent HVAC service. Thank you all so much!

April 5, 2021 Blue Ridge Heating & Air, Inc. completed a 3 day installation of a Generac 22KW generator to power our home when and if an emergency should arise. Let me say, my wife and I are very pleased with the installation, knowledge and the professionalism exhibited by their employee's Robert Musselman and Hunter Maxwell. Thank you for a job well done.

I had a new GENERAC system installed last week. The two technicians, Chandler and Brent, were professional, respectful and very knowledgeable about the product. They went above the call of duty to ensure that everything was neat and installed correctly. They also ensured that I was completely satisfied before they left.
The overall experience was OUTSTANDING, from the ease of setting up the on site inspection through the actual installation. I highly recommend Blue Ridge Heating and Air.

The estimator arrived precisely on time, and within 1/2 hour he had scoped out the addition of a mini-split heat pump system to our home. We agreed on price, and he scheduled the installation before he left. The day before installation I received a call confirming the schedule. The installers arrived on time daily and completed a professional installation, precisely on schedule. I have nothing but good things to say about this quality organization. I had tanks for propane installed as well as a generator. Neal and Seth did an excellent job over the four days on the job. Everything was explained in detail and job was finished in a timely manner. I give the overall experience as excellent and would recommend to others desiring such service.

We just had a Generac generator installed and from the first meeting with Dwayne until completion the service was great. Chandler and Nathan were very professional and hard working in the heat to make sure the installation went well. Questions were quickly answered and Chandler was very knowledgeable on the process. We will be using Blue Ridge again in the very near future!

ON 6242020 Neil and Seth came to install our Generac Generator. We were a little on edge because we did not know what to expect. But they did an excellentawesome installation. They were patient and knew what to do from beginning to end. Really neat and pleasant to be around. What is strange is that on 6272020 our electric when out due to an accident on Riner road and the Generator came immediately and ran for a little more than 3 hours and life went on as normal. We THANK them and Blue Ridge for their professional work. We will recommend them to anyone trying to decide whom to choose.

We have recently had maintenance service (October 2019) completed on two heat pump systems and a generator. The technician (Will for the most recent visit) was on time and explained options for some minor repairs on one of the systems. We have used Blue Ridge for the probably the last 12 years. I recommend them.

We have a rental unit and the heat pump went out during a cold spell a couple weeks ago with temperatures in the teens. I had called a couple other places with high quotes saying they would take weeks to replace the system. I then called Blue Ridge Heating and Air and someone came out the next day to do a quote and were able to come do the whole installation 3 days later! I was never able to get to the property to meet them but they did what they said they would do in a timely manner. I will be using them from now on for all of my heating and air needs.

PC was helpful with the installation of the new thermostat and replacing the transformer. PC was always on time and always gave a heads-up on when he should arrive to my home. Excellent service!

We had them come out to check out our gas fireplace he came looked at it it needed a battery in the unit didn’t have one in the truck I supplied 2 and for 15 minutes he charged me 120.00. Rip off company

Two Thumbs Up! Chris is an annual fixture at our home during Summer. He's been our 'go to' technician for our Geothermal System - keeping it tuned up and working perfectly. Today he responded to a last minute request to change out a couple outdoor outlets. Again, great job!

If I could give these guys more than five stars, I would. Steve and Aaron have spent a week at our house installing new heat pumps and rezoning the house to two zones. They are competent and friendly, great attitudes, and it was no hassle at all having these guys in our home for a week. I plan to set up maintenance contracts with Blue Ridge to keep everything running smoothly. I would not hesitate to hire them again!

I posted a review recently about BR, expressing my displeasue with a recent event. UPDATE! My review was not so good. Bob called me and we discussed the problem to my satisfation. Bob went well out of his way to make everything right, proving that he was more than honest. I can now give BR 5 STARS! My confidence in BR is surely restored and I shall be most happy to continue doing business with BR!

After receiving a fair price from Kevin for exchanging out my heat pump system, I went with Blue Ridge Heating and Air. Mike and John worked tirelessly to remove my old handler and heat pump before installing a new system in frigid temps. Wanda and Rhonda also were very helpful throughout the process. Honestly, everyone was polite, thorough, and dedicating to getting the job done right. The new unit is running smoothly, and I'd recommend Blue Ridge Heating and Air to others who are considering replacing their unit!

Blue Ridge HVAC installed a Lowes-purchased whole-house generator for me about 6 months ago. I purchased a floor-model (demo) pellet stove from them just a few weeks ago, along with a pallet of pellets. The whole-house generator works great, kicks on for self-test every week, and has run once during a power outage flawlessly. The installation was very clean and they coordinated with my propane company on their own. ZERO hassle for me, no call-backs and I couldn't be happier. Now comes the pellet stove. The installation was beautiful and perfect, and they even off-loaded my pellets in a shed for me. I was thrilled. However, in the second time starting the stove, it would not work right. Error messages all over. I called Blue Ridge, and 2 fellows came out the next morning, spent had to go for parts, but got it going again. Fine. It worked for 2 days, quit working (lots of the same odd error codes) and again they came right out the next day. This time they traced it to a little safety switch on the door which might have been (probably was!) the issue all along. This time is working. And working. Obviously no charges for these call-backs. This kind of thing can happen to these delicate things on installation, and it survived the initial self-tests at installation and after the repairs, so I did not fault Blue Ridge. They stood behind their product, again, a floor model sold at a discount, all smalls. We could not be happier with the company, and I am pleased to report that the negative posts are not universal, and this real double-customer will go back to them for my HVAC work without question.

Blue Ridge Heating and Air kept my 45 year old heating and cooling system going until parts were no longer available. I always took advantage of their twice yearly "check-up" specials. This year they installed a new Trane system for me which is totally efficient and quiet. I found Blue Ridge Heat & AC to be completely honest and trustworthy.I love those folks!

I recently relocated to Charlotte and had sold my home in the NRV. I received news at 4:20pm from my realtor that my AC stopped working the day before I was scheduled to close on my home. I was almost three hours away and the team at Blue Ridge Heating & Air had a maintenance tech out to my home by 5:00pm and had resolved the issue by 1:00pm the next day. I have never used Blue Ridge before, I always used the company that originally installed my unit for any maintenance/repairs. I am SO appreciative they were able to help me out on such short notice and understood that this was a pressing issue. A huge high five to the staff at Blue Ridge Heating and Air. I have raved about them to everyone I know. You guys rock!!! Thanks again for helping me divert a huge catastrophe!

We came home from being out at the river, to a house hotter than outside. We contacted our land lord who in return contacted Blue Ridge Heating & Air. Contact with Blue Ridge H&A was made around 8:30pm on a Saturday. William who was on a job in Floyd County said he would make it out to us in Giles County tonight. William showed up at 11:00pm and had the problem diagnosed and repaired in under 30min. Replaced 2 parts and we're going to have a great night sleep. Thank you Will and thank you BR H&A!
